"Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is" was a club track from the soul band Rose Royce. Appearing on their debut album and soundtrack to the movie Car Wash, the song was written and produced by Norman Whitfield. It wasn't released as a single in the U.S., but overseas it was the follow-up to the #1 title track "Car Wash", and climbed to #44 on the British singles chart. It also got to #22 in New Zealand. It remains a DJ favorite.
