"Space Bass" was a club track from the Philadelphia-based group Slick, featuring singers Doris James and Brandi Wells along with the backup players for Fat Larry's Band. Appearing on their debut album Slick, the song was released in America as their first single, while in Germany, it was the "B-side" to the track "Sexy Cream", which rose to #46 on the Disco Top-80 chart in 1979.
