"Double Dutch Bus" was an urban and club hit for R&B artist Frankie Smith. Appearing on his album Children Of Tomorrow, the song which heralded the street jump-rope game Double Dutch, was written by Frankie with producer Bill Bloom. The track spent five weeks at #1 on Billboard magazine's R&B chart in 1981, but only managed to get to #51 on their Disco Top 100 tally.
