twostepcub's music chart for May 3, 2019...

Friday's here, and it's time to run down my top 100 tunes from the previous week. Indie-rockers Cage The Elephant take over at #1, while the Black Keys (pictured above) take a 10-notch leap into the top ten. Songs from Billie Eilish, Andy Grammer, and Lil Peep/iLoveMakonnen/Fall Out Boy make some of the biggest jumps (moves of 10+ places highlighted in red), while former big hits from Kelly Clarkson, Ariana Grande, Chris Stapleton, The Chainsmokers/Kelsea Ballerini, and Lauren Daigle drop off my list. There are seven songs making their debut on my chart this week (highlighted in blue), and if you click on any of them, you'll connect to that artist's official website for more information, tour dates, music, and more. And here they are on video, after the break...

(Click below to see the rest of the post)

The top debut of the week at #86 belongs to French DJ/producer David Guetta's alter ego, Jack Back, with the club track "Put Your Phone Down (Low)". Guetta created the moniker for his more underground non-radio friendly tracks...

Italian production duo Meduza teams up with British trio the Goodboys for the club hit at #91, "Piece Of Your Heart"...

DJ/producer Marshmello, whose collaboration with modern rock act Bastille, "Happier", is still in my top-40 at #21, follows that #1 hit up at #92 with another band, CHVRCHES from Scotland, with "Here With Me"...

Country bear Lee Brice rolls in at #96 with "Rumor", the second single from his 2017 album...

As Kelly Clarkson drops out of my list with her former top-ten hit "Heat", she wastes no time, returning at #98 with her contribution to the movie Uglydolls, "Broken & Beautiful"...

Fiorious, a new dance musician from the Bronx, shuffles in at #99 with his first hit "I'm Not Defeated". The music video is like an LGBTQ history lesson...

The final newbie of the week is from singer/actress Teyana Taylor, who slips in at #100 with her club hit "WTP"...
