Disco Dessert 1/10/19: "Other Galactic Funk" from Meco...

"Other Galactic Funk" was a cut on Italian disco producer Meco Menardo's Star Wars and Other Galactic Funk album. While side A contained the whole extended version of "Star Wars Theme/Cantina Band" that went to #1 on Billboard magazine's pop chart, #7 on the R&B chart, and #6 on the Disco/Dance tracks chart, the funky marching band jam of "Other Galactic Funk" took up most of the other side of the record. I have fond memories of listening to this as my dad had the "8-Track" (kids, look it up) of this album which he played in the car constantly.
