"I Love The Nightlife (Disco 'Round)" was the big hit single from disco singer Alicia Bridges. Appearing on her self-titled debut album in 1978, the song spent two weeks at #2 on Billboard magazine's Disco/Dance Tracks chart, as well as reaching #5 on their pop Hot 100 list. Alicia, an open lesbian, was nominated for a Grammy Awards for best female R&B vocal for the record, which Donna Summer won for "Last Dance". The song got new life when it appeared in the movie The Adventures Of Priscilla, Queen Of The Desert in 1994.
