twostepcub's music chart for August 11, 2017...


Friday's here, and it's time to run down my top 100 tunes from the previous week. "Despacito" from Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee claim a fourth week on top, while Foo Fighters (pictured above) roll up a couple notches in the top ten. Former big hits from Paramore, Dan Auerbach, Dan + Shay, and Darius Rucker drop off my list, while songs from the War On Drugs, Calvin Harris/Pharrell/Katy Perry/Big Sean, and Jason Aldean make the biggest jumps (moves of 10+ places highlighted in red). Back home, second time repeaters suuuuuck....

The third single from country traditionalist Jon Pardi's sophomore album, California Sunrise, is "Heartache On The Dance Floor", which shuffles in at #84. It follows "Dirt On My Boots", which is still in at #86...


Dropping the $ and re-emerging from her legal battle with producer Dr. Luke, Kesha comes in at #85 with "Praying"...


Country rocker Kip Moore previews his upcoming third album Slowheart with the song at #89, "More Girls Like You"...


Danish alternative rock trio New Politics are back at #91 with "One Of Us", the lead track from their fourth album Lost In Translation...


Tamar Braxton (.com) lands at #92 with "My Man", a story about her parents marriage and subsequent divorce...


Swedish dance duo Axwell & Ingrosso bop in at #93 with "More Than You Know", the title track to their second EP...
