twostepcub's music chart for July 14, 2017...

Friday's here, and it's time to run down my top 100 tunes from the previous week. Ed Sheeran remains on top for a sixth week, while Zedd and Alessia Cara (pictured above) stay for a third week at #7. Former big hits from the Lumineers, Rag N' Bone Man, Dierks Bentley, and Alesso drop off my list, while songs from Nile Rodgers/Tony Moran/Kimberly Davis, Katy Perry/Nicki Minaj, and Zayn/PARTYNEXTDOOR make some of the biggest jumps (moves of 10+ places highlighted in red). Well Cape Cod, it's almost farewell. Hope you treated me well...

Country ingenue turned pop princess LeAnn Rimes (no, not Taylor) claims the top debut of the week at #78 with her anthem of equality, "Love Is Love Is Love". It's the second hit from her Remnants album; "Long Live Love" topped the dance chart and made my top-40 earlier this year...

The title track to Canadian indie-rock band Arcade Fire's latest album, "Everything Now", arrives at #79...

Geek-rock kings Weezer return at #86 with their seasonal anthem "Feels Like Summer". It's a preview of their upcoming Black Album...

DJ Khaled gets A-list help from Rihanna and Bryson Tiller for his entry at #87, "Wild Thoughts". The track sampled Santana's #1 hit "Maria Maria"...

The charity effort to help the victims of the tragic fire at the Grenfell Tower in London that claimed the life of at least 80 people and displaced hundreds, a cover of Simon & Garfunkel's "Bridge Over Troubled Water", enters my list at #89. It features many British musicians like Robbie Williams, James Blunt, Emeli Sande, Leona Lewis, Roger Daltrey, and more...

While modern rockers Imagine Dragons sit in my top-5 with "Believer", their new single "Thunder" rolls in at #91...

Brotherly indie-pop trio AJR make their debut at #92 with their club hit "Weak"...

The fourth song from British "girl-group" Little Mix's Glory Days album, "Power" featuring rapper Stormzy, comes in at #95. The video features RuPaul's Drag Race alums Alaska, Willam, and Courtney Act...

Dance music singer Tami shakes in at #96 with her "Sugar Shack"...

X Factor UK alums Olly Murs (sixth season runner-up) and Louisa Johnson (the winner of season 12) get together at #97 with "Unpredictable"...

The final newbie of the week at #100 is "Bad Liar" from former Disney princess Selena Gomez. She's also up at #14 with her collab with Kygo, "It Ain't Me"...
