twostepcub's music chart for June 16, 2017...

Friday's here, and it's time to run down my top 100 tunes from the previous week. Ed Sheeran remains on top for a second week, while Alaskan rockers Portugal The Man (pictured above) climb a pair of notches within the top ten. Songs from Miley Cyrus, Sean Finn/Chris Willis, and Shawn Mendes make some of the biggest jumps (moves of 10+ places highlighted in red), while former big hits from Bruno Mars, Zayn/Taylor Swift, Shawn Mendes, Kelsea Ballerini, the New Pornographers, and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike/Diplo drop out. I'm ready for my close-up...

Blues-rock band the Record Company are back with the top debut of the week at #78 with "Baby I'm Broken". It's the third single from their debut album Give It Back To You. The first, "Off The Ground", made my year-end top 100 last year...

Danish heavy metal stars Volbeat roll in at #80 with "Black Rose", the third single from their Seal The Deal & Let's Boogie set to reach my chart. It features Canadian rocker Danko Jones...

Alt-pop singer/songwriter Halsey returns after her featured turn on the #2 hit "Closer" from the Chainsmokers as "Now Or Never" moves in at #81...

The National, a neo-postpunk band from Ohio, claim their first hit on my list at #82 with "The System Only Dreams In Total Darkness"...

Well the time has come that the fifth and final member of One Direction has his first solo hit as Liam Payne (aka the hot one) enters at #95 with "Strip That Down" featuring rapper Quavo from Migos. Two of his old bandmates, Niall Horan and Harry Styles, are also on the chart, with Zayn just dropping off this week (he'll be back soon with his next single...)...

London-based production trio Disciples, whose collaboration with Calvin Harris on "How Deep Is Your Love" was a huge worldwide hit two years ago, slip in at #96 on their own with "On My Mind"...

The final newbie of the week is from adult-pop artist Gavin DeGraw, as the second single from his Something Worth Saving album, "Making Love With The Radio On", dials in at #100...
