American rapper French Montana lands his first top ten hit at #8 with "Unforgettable" featuring Swae Lee of Rae Sremmurd...


British DJ/producer Jonas Blue takes his third trip into the top ten in this country with "Mama" featuring William Singe (from the Australian boy-band the Collective) at #9. Last year his cover of Tracy Chapman's "Fast Car" went to #2 in Germany...


Further down the chart, rapper Nimo from Karlsruhe climbs in the top-40 at #22 with "Heute Mit Mir" ("Today With Me"). It becomes his second top-40 hit...


Meanwhile, on the albums chart in the country, rapper Bushido, born in Bonn, takes over at #1 with his new album Black Friday. It's his eighth time at the top of the albums chart...


Another hip-hop artist, Spongebozz, arrives at #2 with his second album Startet From The Bottom. The first, PlanktonWeed Tape, topped the chart in 2015...


The fourth volume of performances from the TV show Sing meinen Song - Das Tauschkonzert ("Sing My Song - the Exchange Concert") drops in at #4. The popular program has German music stars cover each other's work each week. (Sorry, no video is available here in the States...)

At #5 is American neo-metal band Rise Against with Wolves. Their last two studio releases, Endgame in 2011 and The Black Market in 2014 both topped the charts here...


Sierra Kidd, a rap artist from the northwestern city of Emden, lands at #8 with his second full-length album Rest In Peace. It follows 2014's Nowhere, which went to #6...


British dream-pop act London Grammar slip in at #9 with their Truth Is A Beautiful Thing album. It's their first time in the top ten...
