German Sweep: April 26, 2017...


Here's the top ten hits in Germany this week, according to their official singles chart, as Ed Sheeran's "Shape Of You" is at #1 for a fifteenth week...

7. "It Ain't Me" - Kygo & Selena Gomez (7)
8. "Galway Girl" - Ed Sheeran (9)
9. "Symphony" - Clean Bandit featuring Zara Larsson (DEBUT)
10. "Nummer 1" - Zuna featuring Azet & Noizy (RE-ENTRY)

British neo-house group Clean Bandit score their fourth top ten hit in Germany as "Symphony" featuring Swedish singer Zara Larsson checks in at #9. It follows their #1 single "Rockabye"...

Further down the chart, pop singer Wincent Wiess, from the northern city of Eutin in Holstein, moves into the top-40 at #26 with "Feuerwerk" ("Fireworks"). He reached the top ten in 2015 as a featured vocalist on Gestort uber GeiL's "Unter meiner Haut"...


Meanwhile, on the albums chart in the country, Ed Sheeran's Divide album climbs back up to #1 for a third non-consecutive week...

Rapper Zuna, born in Lebanon and moved to Germany as a teenager, takes the #2 spot with his first big release Mele7...


The aforementioned Wincent Weiss comes in at #3 with his debut album Irgendwas Gegen die Stille ("Something Against The Silence")...


American rap idol Kendrick Lamar arrives at #6 with his new album DAMN. In 2015 he climbed to #7 with To Pimp A Butterfly, so this makes it his most successful so far..


Chakuza, a rap artist from Austria, collaborates with Bizzy Montana, from Mullheim, on the set at #7, Blackout 2...
