French Sweep: April 11, 2017...

Here's the top ten hits in France this week, according to their official singles chart, as Ed Sheeran reigns for a thirteenth week at #1...

2. "Million Eyes" - Loïc Nottet (8)
3. "I Feel It Coming" - The Weeknd featuring Daft Punk (2)
4. "Human" - Rag N' Bone Man (3)
5. "Despacito" - Luis Fonsi featuring Daddy Yankee (4)
6. "Roule" - Soprano (DEBUT)
7. "You Don't Know Me" - Jax Jones featuring RAYE (6)
8. "Run This Town" - Luna featuring Iyaz (DEBUT)
9. "Be Mine" - Ofenbach (7)
10. "Oh Bah Oui" - Lacrim (DEBUT)

French singer/rapper Soprano claims his fifth top ten hit and third from his current album L'Everest with "Roule" ("Rolled") with comes in at #6...

Luna Ginestet, who was a contestant on this country's version of The Voice, and these days appears on a reality show called Les Anges which mixes up fodder from a myriad of reality shows, flies in at #8 with "Run This Town"...


Rapper Lacrim enters the top ten at #10 with "Oh Bah Oui" - his third from his Force & Honneur record, but there's no video/audio up for it yet...

Further down the chart, Sofiane, a French-Algerian rap artist,  enters the top-40 at #13 with "Bandit saleté" ("Dirty Bandit")...


French dance act Basada slides in at #37 with "Get Get Down". It's a remake of the 1999 club hit from Paul Johnson that went to #1 on the American dance chart and hit #9 on the French singles list...


Meanwhile, on the albums chart in France, Lacrim's Force & Honneur album enters the list at #1. It's his second chart-topper after Corleone in 2014...


British neo-disco act Jamiroquai snags the #2 spot with Automaton. All eight of their studio albums have reached the top-10 here, with A Funk Odyssey going to #1 in 2001...


Belgian singer Loïc Nottet, who represented that country at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2015 and came in fourth, jumps in at #6 with his first album Selfocracy...


Canadian actor/singer Roch Voisine enters at #10 with Devant Nous ("In Front Of Us") album. It's his twelfth release to make the top ten...
