twostepcub's music chart for March 17, 2017...

There are ten songs making their debut on my chart this week (highlighted in blue), and if you click on any of them, you'll connect to that artist's official website for more info. And here they are on video, after the break...

(Click below to see the rest of the post)

Indie-rock band Cold War Kids, whose single "First" made my year-end chart in both 2015 and 2016 (both times in the top-40), return with the highest debut of the week with the first single from their upcoming sixth album, L.A.Divine. "Love Is Mystical" rockets in at #64...

Imagine Dragon are back as well with the lead track from their upcoming third album; "Believer", which drops in at #69, is also heard on the new Nintendo Switch commercial...

Philadelphia-based indie-pop duo Marian Hill also are prominently featured in a TV ad, this time for Apple with their single "Down", which enters at #82...

Crossover country newcomer Sam Hunt, whose debut album Montevallo placed five songs on my chart, drives in at #88 with "Body Like A Back Road", which will be on his upcoming sophomore release...

Malaysian neo-soul artist Yuna, whose breakthrough single "Crush" reached my top-40, sets in at #89 with its follow-up, "Best Love"...

Garth Brooks shuffles in at #91 with his latest, "Baby, Let's Lay Down And Dance", the first single from his Gunslinger album. He's swept it off YouTube, so maybe he'll remember that since the single is already off the country charts missing the top 10 in Billboard (#shade)...

R&B singer Leela James makes her debut on my chart at #94 with "Don't Want You Back", from her sixth album Did It For Love...

Dance-pop singer Bebe Rexha, who has appeared on hits from Martin Garrix, G-Eazy, Cash Cash, and David Guetta, arrives as a lead artist here for the first time at #97 with "I Got You"...

Pop singer/songwriter Julia Michaels slips in at #98 with her first single "Issues". She's written for almost every young pop act around, like Bieber, Selena, Demi, and the like...

The final newbie of the week at #100 is DJ Glenn Thornton who recruits powerhouse dance/gospel singer Dawn Tallman for his club hit "Gonna Be Power"...
