I'm ready to cross the Atlantic one more time to check out the notable singles and albums reaching the charts in the UK this week...

On the official singles charts in Britain, Ed Sheeran will not let go of #1 for an eighth week with "Shape Of You"...

Scottish DJ/producer Calvin Harris lands in the top 10 in his first week at #10 with "Slide" featuring American hip-hop master Frank Ocean and rap trio Migos. It becomes Harris' twenty-second top ten hit in the UK, while its the first for Ocean and Migos. (So far only a snippet of the audio has been released to YouTube...)

Russo-German dance music artist Zedd teams up with Canadian singer/songwrier Alessia Cara at #3 for "Stay". It's Zedd's sixth trip into the top-40 here; he went all the way to #2 in 2013 with "Stay The Night"...



Jason Derulo returns at #43 with "Swalla" featuring rappers Nicki Minaj and Ty Dolla $ign...


Kato, a DJ from Denmark, arrives at #91 with "Show You Love" with house music act Sigala and singer Hailee Steinfeld...

Jazz fusion artist Thundercat, aka Stephen Bruner from Los Angeles, roars in at #37 with his third full-length effort Drunk...


Indie-folk queen Rhiannon Giddens, from the group Carolina Chocolate Drops, takes her second solo album Freedom Highway to the chart at #39...
