Here's the top ten hits in Germany this week, according to their official singles chart, as Ed Sheeran remains on top for a sixth week...

8. "Alone" - Alan Walker (7)
9. "Loin" - Maître Gims featuring Dany Synthé (DEBUT)

French rapper Maître Gims, who I featured a couple of weeks ago, sees his single "Loin" ("Far") featuring producer/DJ Dany Synthé leap into the top ten at #9...

Dutch DJ/producer Martin Garrix scores his second top ten hit in Germany with "Scared To Be Lonely" featuring British singer Dua Lipa. He went to #4 back in 2013 with "Animals". Dua just was in the top ten at #10 as a featured artist on Sean Paul's "No Lie"...


Further down the chart, pop singer Levina from Bonn enters the top-40 at #28 with the song chosen for Germany's entry into this year's Eurovision Song Contest, "Perfect Life"...


Turkish-born DJ Burak Yeter has already reached the top-10 in France with his cover of ILOVEMAKONNEN's "Tuesday" featuring singer Danelle Sandoval. Now they climb into the top 40 in this country at #33...


Rapper Beginner drops in to the top-40 at #36 with "Meine Posse" ("My Posse") featuring Samy Deluxe...


Meanwhile, on the albums chart in Germany, rapper Majoe, from the city of Duisberg in the western North Rhine-Westphalia region, claims his third consecutive #1 album with Auge Des Tigers ("Eye Of The Tiger"). His parents came to Germany from Sri Lanka fleeing war...


British blues-rock singer Rag N' Bone Man, who had one of the top ten singles of the year in Germany with "Human", sees his debut full length album named for the song enter at #2...


The soundtrack to the Fifty Shades Darker movie slinks in at #3. The companion to the first 50 Shades Of Grey topped the chart here in 2015...


Actor/singer Matthias Schweighöfer, from the East German town of Anklam in the state of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, reaches the top ten for the first time with Lachen Weinen Tanzen ("Laughter")...


Veteran thrash-metal band Overkill, from Old Bridge, New Jersey, slip into the top 10 at #10 with The Grinding Wheel. It's their first top ten album in this country...
