Here's the top ten hits in Germany this week, according to their official singles chart, as blues-rocker Rag N' Bone Man racks up an eighth week at #1...

6. "Chöre" - Mark Forster (DEBUT)
7. "The Sound Of Silence" - Disturbed (5)
8. "Say You Won't Let Go" - James Arthur (9)
9. "The Greatest" - Sia featuring Kendrick Lamar (7)
10. "Closer" - The Chainsmokers featuring Halsey (8)

Singer/rapper Mark Forster lands in the top 10 with a song I featured last week when it leaped into the top-40, "Chöre" ("Choir"). It's his fourth top-10 hit now, following his last, "Wir sind groß" which peaked at #3...

Further down the chart, Kurdish/German rapper KC Rebell, from Essen, scores his fourth top-40 hit at #40 with "TelVision" featuring PA Sports, Kianush, and Kollegah. He previous climbed to #15 with "Bist Du Real" last year...


Meanwhile, on the albums chart in Germany, Berlin rapper Shindy tops the list in his first week with his third solo album Dreams. All three have gone to #1 here...
Sting lands at #3 with his latest set 57th & 9th. It's his fourteenth trip into the top-10; he topped the list in 1991 with The Soul Cages and again in 1999 with Brand New Day...


Rock and Roll dinosaurs the Rolling Stones roll back in at #4 with their live excursion Havana Moon. The band first reached the top ten in Germany's album chart way back in 1964 with England's Newest Hit Makers...


Swedish melodic death metal group In Flames burn in at #7 with Battles. It's their fifth consecutive top ten album in this country; five years ago they made it to #1 with Sounds Of A Playground Fading...


Enigma, the long-standing world music/electronica act fronted by German/Romanian producer Michael Cretu, sails in at #10 with The Fall Of A Rebel Angel...
