French Sweep: November 15, 2016...


 Here's the top ten hits in France this week, according to their official singles chart, as Richard Orlinski and Eva Simons reign for a third week...

3. "I Feel So Bad" - KUNGS featuring Ephemerals (RE-ENTRY)
4. "24K Magic" - Bruno Mars (5)
5. "This Girl" - KUNGS vs. Cookin' On 3 Burners (9)
6. "Human" - Rag N' Bone Man (6)
7. "Starboy" - The Weeknd featuring Daft Punk (10)
8. "Don't You Know" - KUNGS featuring Jamie N Commons (RE-ENTRY)
9. "The Greatest" - Sia featuring Kendrick Lamar (7)
10. "Heathens" - twenty-one pilots (DEBUT)

American modern rock duo twenty-one pilots score their second top ten hit in this country with "Heathens" at #10. Their first, "Stressed Out", made it to #2...

Further down the chart, R&B/hip-hop singer Vitaa lands on the chart at #15 with "Dans Ma Tete" ("In My Head"). It's looking to become her third top-10 hit; she topped the list with "Game Over" in 2013...


Rap duo PNL enter at #17 with "Onizuka", the fourth track from their former #1 album Dans la légende to reach the top-40 in France. "Naha" went to #2...


Arielle Dombasle, an American-born singer of French heritage, arrives at #19 with "Carthagena", a collaboration with Nicolas Ker, the lead singer of the electronica act Poni Hoax...


Remixer Rudedog reworks Ray Charles' "I Got A Woman" into a new club jam which enters at #29...


Rapper/singer Jul slips in at #31 with "Tchikita"...


Kaaris flows in at #39 with "Poussiere" ("Dust")...


Meanwhile, on the albums chart in France, pop singer M. Pokora remains on top with My Way...

Veteran French pop singer Veronique Sanson comes in at #3 with Dignes, dingues, donc... (Worthy, Crazy, So). Sanson was married to American folk-rock legend Stephen Stills in the 1970s. The first single from the record, "Et J'Appelle Encore" ("And I Still Call It"), also leaps into the singles top-40...


And DJ/producer KUNGS, from the Mediterranean city of Toulon, sails in at #10 with his debut album Layers. Three of its songs are in the top 10 on the singles chart...
