Here's the top ten hits in France this week, according to their official singles chart, as the death of Prince sends three of his songs back into the top ten...

2. "Kiss" - Prince & The Revolution (DEBUT)
3. "This Girl" - KUNGS vs Cookin' on 3 Burners (1)
4. "Cheap Thrills" - Sia (2)
5. "Don't Be So Shy" - Imani (4)
6. "One Dance" - Drake featuring Wizkid (5)
7. "Stressed Out" - twenty-one pilots (8)
8. "Cream" - Prince & The New Power Generation (RE-ENTRY)
9. "Faded" - Alan Walker (6)
10. "I Took A Pill In Ibiza" - Mike Posner (7)

The top-selling single in France this week is from Prince, as his "Purple Rain" leaps to #1. Surprisingly, on its initial release the record only made it to #12 in this country...

Prince's "Kiss" smooches in at the runner-up spot. Like "Purple Rain", the song only made it to #29 the first go-around in 1986, so this is its first week in the top-10...


The third Prince song in the top 10 was one that's been there before, as his 1991 track "Cream" peaked at #5. It's back at #8...
