We're at the "hump" of today's "music sweep", sampling the songs making their way on to the official singles charts in Billboard magazine, and this time up I'm serving up the latest hits on R&B radio...

On the main R&B/Hip Hop Airplay chart, Drake's "Hotline Bling" is on top for a seventh week...

Jazz-soul singer Lalah Hathaway takes her cover of Anita Baker's "Angel" to the main R&B list at #41...

While Chris Brown's "Liquor" falls a notch to #5, his new track "Back To Sleep" drops in at #45...


Georgia singer Jacquees lands at #48 with "Like Baby"...


Meanwhile, on the older-skewing Adult R&B radio panel, Tyrese's "Shame" jumps back to #1 for a fifth nonconsecutive week, while no new songs enter the chart...

Lastly, on the Rhythmic format, whose stations add more dance-pop music to their playlists, "Hotline Bling" is on top for a seventh week...

The Weeknd moves in at #24 with "In The Night", the fourth single from his The Beauty and the Madness album. The first three, "Earned It", "The Hills", and "Can't Feel My Face", all climbed to #1 on this chart...


Rap queen Missy Elliott is back at #35 with "WTF (Where They From)", my "soul pick of the week".  The jam features Pharrell Williams...


Rapper G-Eazy and singer Bebe Rexha claim the last debut at #36 with "Me Myself and I"...
