Country Sweep: November 14, 2015...






Part four of today's "music sweep" has the latest hits on country radio as monitored by Billboard magazine...

On their Country Airplay chart, Old Dominion claim their first #1 hit with "Break Up With Him"...

Last week Keith Urban came in at #54 with "Break On Me", the second single from his upcoming album Ripcord. This week he leaps to #33. The first release from the set, "John Cougar, John Deere, John 3:16" went to #2...

This week's highest new entry belongs to Justin Moore, who's in at #41 with "You Look Like I Need A Drink". He's had four #1 hits so far, most recently with "Lettin' The Night Roll" in 2014..


Another unrelated Moore, Kip Moore, moves from #50 to #45 with "Running For You", the second single from his Wild Ones album, after the #20 single "I'm To Blame"...


Newcomer Chris Janson went to #3 with his breakthrough hit "Buy Me A Boat" this past summer; now he's back at #54 with "Power Of Positive Drinkin'"...


As Luke Bryan's "Strip It Down" falls from the #1 spot this week, his next single "Home Alone Tonight" with Karen Fairchild from Little Big Town, arrives at #55...


The final newbie of the week at #59 is "By The Way", my "Country Pick of the Week", from Canadian singer Lindsay Ell. It's her third trip to the American chart; she previous climbed to #46 with "Trippin' On Us"...
