Soul Sweep: June 27, 2015...

We're at the "hump" of today's "chart sweeps", sampling the songs making their debut on the singles charts in Billboard magazine, and this time I'm serving up the latest hits on R&B radio...

On their main R&B/Hip Hop Airplay chart, The Weeknd claims a tenth week at #1 with "Earned It (50 Shades Of Grey)"...

Texan rapper T-Wayne finally gets his top-10 pop hit "Nasty Freestyle" on to the R&B airplay list at #47...

Young Dro, the Atlanta rapper who topped this chart back in 2006 with "Shoulder Lean", returns at #49 with "We In Da City"..

Newcomer D.R.A.M. dances in with "Cha Cha"...

Meanwhile, on the older-skewing Adult R&B radio panel, "Earned It" is on top for a fifth week...

Trey Songz pops in at #28 with his #3 R&B/HipHop hit "Slow Motion"...

Lastly, on the Rhythmic format, whose station includes more dance/pop music in their playlists,  Wiz Khalifa's "See You Again" reigns for a fourth week...

The Weeknd's new track, "Can't Feel My Face", is my "Soul Pick of the Week" and enters up at #23. On this chart "Earned It" drops a notch to #10...

While Fetty Wap's former #1 hit "Trap Queen" falls a peg to #4, his new single "My Way" is in at #37..

Rich Homie Quan takes the last debut spot at #38 with "Flex (Ooh Ooh Ooh)"...

I'll be back in 90 with the latest on country radio...
