Dance Sweep: June 27, 2015...

I"m ready to wrap up this week's "chart sweeps" checking out the songs making the charts in Billboard magazine, and I'll close out with the latest dance jams in the clubs and on the radio...

On the DJ-polled Dance Club Play chart, Rihanna moves to #1 with "Bitch Better Have My Money" (proof the track bombed at pop radio)...

The top debut of the week at #43 is from Canadian DJ/producer Barry Harris, who went from Top-40 hitmaker act Kon Kan to remixing team Thunderpuss (with Chris Cox) to his own solo career. He's in with "What Makes Your Heart Beat Faster"...

British X Factor winner Leona Lewis returns at #45 with "Fire Under My Feet". Her last club hit "Collide" peaked at #6 in 2011..

Pop/dance artist Aiden Leslie drops in at #49 with "I Just Go", my "Dance Pick of the Week"...

Meanwhile, on the radio-monitored Dance Airplay/Mixshow chart, DJ Snake and AlunaGeorge's "You Know You Like It" spends a third week on top...

Swedish DJ/producer Avicii comes in at #26 with "Waiting For Love". It follows "The Nights", which made it to #11...

Remixing team the Chainsmokers, who climbed to #2 last year with "#SELFIE", slip in at #37 with "Let You Go" featuring Great Good Fine OK...

The last newbie of the week at #40 is the former UK #1 hit "King" from Years and Years...

Well that does it for this week's "sweeps"....thanks for taking this musical trip with me and hopefully something new has caught your ear. Cheers!
