The weekend is coming to a close, and it's time to check out the songs making their debut on the just-released official singles chart in the UK this week, as Jason Derulo spends a second week at #1 with "Want To Want Me"...

British pop-rock band Lawson get the top debut at #11 with "Roads", from their upcoming second album, and my "Brit Pick of the Week". Their first, Chapman Square, had placed six singles in the top-20 in its two releases, with "Taking Over Me" and "Juliet" reaching #3...

DJ S.K.T. makes his debut at #19 with "Take Me Away" featuring Rae....


Jamie xx, aka Jamie Smith from the British indie-pop group the xx, drops in at #62 with "Loud Places" featuring Romy. His second solo album In Colour arrives at #3 on the albums chart in this country...


British drum and bass act Rudimental preview their upcoming sophomore effort We The Generation with the song at #65, "Never Let You Go". The new set will also include their collaboration with Ed Sheeran, "Bloodstream", that rose to #2 on the UK chart...


American modern rockers Walk The Moon take their top-10 US hit "Shut Up And Dance" to these shores at #75...


The final newbie of the week at #97 belongs to Belgian DJ and producer Felix de Laet, who records under the moniker Lost Frequencies, with his international hit "Are You With Me". The vocals are sped up from an album track from American country singer Easton Corbin...
