Soul Sweep: May 30, 2015...

I'm at the "hump" of my catch-up of my "chart sweeps" from last week, sampling the songs making the Billboard singles charts, and this time out I've got the latest on R&B radio...

On their main R&B/Hip Hop Airplay chart, The Weeknd is on top for a sixth week with "Earned It (50 Shades Of Grey)"...

DJ Khaled comes in at #30 with "How Many Times" featuring Chris Brown, Lil' Wayne, and Big Sean. It's the follow-up to his #1 hit "Hold You Down" (also with Brown)...

Newcomer Tink scores her first hit at #40 with "Million", co-produced by Timbaland. It's an interpolation of the Aaliyah hit from 1996 that went to #1 on this chart...

Rapper Silento enters at #43 with "Watch Me", which is already in the top-40 on the Hot 100 pop chart...

Hip-hop duo Rae Sremmund follow up their #1 hit "Throw Sum Mo" with the track at #46, "This Could Be Us"...

Latin soul singer Miguel flows in at #48 with his new track "Coffee", my "Soul Pick of the Week"...

Alt-hip-hop artist DeJ Loaf teams up at #49 with Lil Wayne for "Me U & Hennessy". Her last single, "Try Me", peaked at #6 on this chart in December of last year...

Neo-soul singer Vivian Green is in at #50 with "Get Right Back To My Baby". The single is up to #17 on the Adult R&B list...

Meanwhile, on the older-skewing Adult R&B radio panel, "Earned It" climbs to #1...

Charlie Wilson is back at #26 with "My Favorite Part Of You"...

The aforementioned "Coffee" from Miguel enters at #29...

Lastly, on the Rhythmic format, whose stations add more dance/pop music to their playlists, "Trap Queen" from Fetty Wap holds on top for a second week...

The Game moves in at #38 with "Ryda" featuring DeJ Loaf...

Rapper Future enters at #39 with "Commas"...

and newbie Pia Mia rounds it out at #40 with "Do It Again" featuring Chris Brown and Tyga...

I'll return with the latest on country radio...
