Soul Sweep: April 11, 2015...

We're at the "hump" of today's "chart sweeps", sampling the songs making the charts in Billboard magazine, and this time I'm serving up the latest hits on R&B radio...

On their main R&B/Hip Hop Airplay chart, Fetty Wap scores his first #1 hit with "Trap Queen"...

Rihanna has the high debut at #32 with "Bitch Better Have My Money". It already is four notches higher than her last single "FourFiveSeconds" peaked (which Billboard's moronic "R&B Songs" chart had as #1)...

With a little help from WorldStarHipHop's YouTube channel, rapper Chedda Da Connect comes in at #42 with "Flicka Da Wrist"..

Meanwhile, on the older-skewing Adult R&B radio panel, Kem's "Nobody" is on top for an eighth week

Sam Smith arrives at #28 with "Lay Me Down", which also is available in a version with John Legend". His breakthrough hit "Stay With Me" is still up at #3 in its 47th week, while "I'm Not The Only One" is at #9...

Actor/singer/comic Jamie Foxx returns at #29 with "You Changed Me" featuring Chris Brown...

Lastly, on the Rhythmic format, whose stations include more dance/pop music in their playlists, Dutch singer Natalie La Rose remains at #1 for a second week with "Somebody"...

Frenchman DJ Snake and British duo AlunaGeorge slither in at #37 with my "Soul Pick of the Week", "You Know You Like It"...

I'll be back in 90 with the latest on country radio...
