Dance Sweep: April 25, 2015...

I'm ready to wrap up today's "chart sweeps", checking out the songs making the various charts in Billboard magazine, and I'll close things out with the latest dance jams in the clubs and on the radio...

On the DJ-polled Dance Club Play chart, Tove Lo scores her second #1 (after her turn on Alesso's "Heroes (We Could Be)" with "Talking Body"...

Disco icon Nile Rodgers and Chic are back at #40 with "I'll Be There". Nile has topped the club list three times, most recently in 1992 with "Chic Mystique". Out of tough competition, this one is my "Dance Pick of the Week"...

Madonna follows up her #1 "Living For Love" with "Ghosttown", which enters at #41...

The third (and equally strong) newbie at #50 is Zambian-born "queen of rave" Rozalla with "If You Say It Again". She topped the club list three times in the early 90s, with "Everybody's Free (To Feel Good)", "Are You Ready To Fly?", and "I Love Music"...

Meanwhile, on the radio-monitored Dance Airplay/Mixshow chart,  Ellie Goulding reigns for a second week with "Love Me Like You Do"...

Teenage Dutch DJ and producer Martin Garrix rockets in at #19 with "Don't Look Down" featuring Usher. Martin went to #4 on this list with "Animals"...

Lunchmoney Lewis cashes in at #36 with "Bills"...

Another former "Song You Should Know About", "Tether" from Scottish electropop trio CHVRCHES with Swedish DJ Eric Prydz, spins in at #37...

YouTube singing star Tori Kelly moves in at #39 with "Nobody Love"...

The final newbie at #50 is Pierce Fulton with "Kuaga"...

That's it for today...thanks for taking this musical journey, and hopefully something new has caught your ear... Cheers!
