We're at the "hump" of today's "chart sweeps", sampling the songs making their way on to the charts in Billboard magazine, and this time I'm serving up the latest hits on R&B radio...

On their main R&B/Hip Hop Airplay chart, Nicki Minaj spreads a third week at #1 with "Truffle Butter"...

The first song from the hit musical drama Empire to reach an airplay chart lands at #47 with "Good Enough" featuring star (and "out" singer) Jussie Smollett. It's my "Soul Pick of the Week", and hopefully has legs even when the show is between seasons...

Nigerian-American singer Jidenna makes his debut at #49 with "Classic Man" featuring Roman GianArthur...


Jeremih follows up his #1 R&B airplay hit "Don't Tell 'Em" with the song at #50, "Planes" featuring J. Cole. It's the second single from his long-awaited third album Late Nights, due at the end of April...


Meanwhile, on the older-skewing Adult R&B radio panel, "Nobody" from Kem is on top for a seventh week...

Jazmine Sullivan lights it up at #29 with "Let It Burn", the third single from her Reality Show album. The second, "Forever Don't Last", peaked at #10 on this chart...


Lastly, on the Rhythmic format, whose stations include more pop/dance music in their playlists, Natalie La Rose scores her first #1 hit with "Somebody"...

Snoop Dogg smokes in at #35 with "Peaches and Cream" featuring Charlie Wilson (from the Gap Band)...


Hardcore rapper Tech N9ne teams up with 2 Chainz and B.o.B for "Hood Go Crazy" at #39...
