Dance Sweep: March 21, 2015...

It's time to wrap up today's "chart sweeps" of the songs making the latest charts in Billboard magazine, and I'll close things out with the newest dance jams in the clubs and on the radio...

On the DJ-polled Dance Club Play chart, Axwell and Ingrosso move to #1 with "Something New". It's Axwell's first outside of the Swedish House Mafia, while Seb Ingrosso topped the list with "Calling (Lose My Mind)" in 2012...

It must be the week for biscuits, because just like the country chart, the highest debut is a song named "Biscuit". This time it's pop/dance singer Ivy Levan with her song at #38, which is my "Dance Pick of the Week"...

Kelly Clarkson returns at #42 with her "Heartbeat Song". She topped the chart with "People Like Us"...

Filipino DJ/remixer Laidback Luke teams up with German producer Tujamo at #46 for "S.A.X"...

French dance music artist Martin Solveig is back at #48 with GTA and "Intoxicated"...

Producer Eddie Amador enlists club legend Ultra Nate at #49 for "Take Care Of My Heart". He also moves up to #37 with "Awake" with Lisa Williams...

Meanwhile, on the radio-monitored Dance Airplay/Mixshow chart,  "Outside" from Calvin Harris and Ellie Goulding is on top for a third week...

Ariana Grande pulls in at #27 for "One Last Time"....

The #1 R&B radio hit in America, "Truffle Butter" from Nicki Minaj and Drake, crosses over to the dance radio list at #32...

Swedish EDM king Alesso moves in at #33 with "Cool" featuring Roy English. His last single "Heroes (We Could Be)" with Tove Lo went to #1 on this chart. This new one samples Kylie Minogue's "Get Outta My Way"...

The last debut at #35 is "The Night" from 3LAU and Nom De Strip featuring British R&B single Estelle. This one also is an interpolation, this time of Corona's 90s jam "Rhythm Of The Night".

That's all for today's musical trip.. Thanks for coming along, and hopefully you've heard something new that's caught your fancy. Cheers!
