Soul Sweep: March 7, 2015...


We're at the "hump" of today's "chart sweeps", sampling the songs making their way on to the radio charts in Billboard magazine, and this time I'm serving up the latest on R&B stations....

On the main R&B/Hip Hop Airplay chart, Beyonce' reigns for a fourth week with "7/11"...

The fourth single from rapper KCamp's EP In Due Time, "Lil Bit", enters at #43. The second, "Cut Her Off", climbed to #3...

R&B singer/songwriter Trey Songz stops in at #50 with "Slow Motion", my "Soul Pick of the Week". It's the sixth single from his Trigga album, which already produced the top-5  "Touchin', Lovin'"...



 Meanwhile, on the older-skewing Adult R&B radio panel, Kem is on top for a third week with "Nobody"...

Beyonce's #1 "7/11" finally crosses over to this chart at #30...


Lastly, on the Rhythmic format, whose stations include more dance/pop in their playlists, Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars are at #1 for a fourth week with "Uptown Funk!"...

Rap duo Rae Sremmurd come in at #31 with "Throw Sum Mo" featuring Nicki Minaj and Young Thug. It follows "No Type", which peaked at #22 here...


The last debut at #39 is newcomer Casey Veggies with "Backflip" featuring YG and iAMSU!...
