Dance Sweep: March 7. 2015...

I'm ready to wrap up today's "chart sweeps" checking out the latest songs making the charts in Billboard magazine, and I'll close things out with the latest dance jams in the clubs and on the radio...

On the DJ-polled Dance Club Play chart, Madonna claims her record-setting 44th #1 hit with "Living For Love". In fact, only George Strait has had as many chart-topping hits on any of Billboard's singles charts...

Another club legend, producer Giorgio Moroder, has the top debut of the week and my "Dance Pick Of The Week" with his collaboration with Kylie Minogue, "Right Here, Right Now". In 2000, the Jam & Spoon remix of his classic "Chase" topped the club chart...

British DJ/producer Phillip George takes his #2 UK hit "When You Were Mine" to the clubs at #40. It samples Stevie Wonder's "My Cherie Amour"...

Assia Ahhatt lands at #42 with "Fiesta In San Juan"....

Amoray lands his fourth club hit at #48 with "Don't Say It". Previously he climbed to #35 with "Keep Your Head Up"...

Meanwhile, on the radio-monitored Dance Airplay/Mixshow chart,  Calvin Harris and Ellie Goulding climb to #1 with "Outside"...

Dutch DJ/producer Kygo moves in at #33 with "Firestone". The track is a current top-10 pop hit in Germany...

Another Dutch artist, Oliver Heldens, lands at #34 with "Last All Night (Koala)" featuring K Stewart. The single went top-5 in England last year...

Madonna's #1 "Living For Love" makes an unexpected modest start on the airplay chart at #35 (damn radio ageism)...

London-based trance vets Above And Beyond drop in at #50 with "We're All We Need" featuring Zoe Johnston. The duo went to #6 on this chart previously with "Sun and Moon"...

Thanks for taking today's musical journey...hopefully something you haven't heard before has caught your ear...I'll be back tomorrow with my albums recap. Cheers!
