Country Sweep: January 10, 2015...

Part fout of this week's "chart sweeps" has the latest songs on country radio as monitored by Billboard magazine.

On their Country Airplay chart, Tm McGraw spends a third week at #1 with "Shotgun Rider"...

As country stations added their holiday music much later than pop/easy listening stations, there are a couple new Christmas songs on the chart this week. First at #56 is country bear Tyler Farr with his version of "Blue Christmas". His current radio single "A Guy Walks Into A Bar" hold at #26...

The second song from Darius Rucker's Home For The Holidays album to make the chart, "I'll Be Home For Christmas", sleighs in at #59. "What God Wants For Christmas" also jumps to #46...

The final new entry of the week at #60 is Miranda Lambert with the third single from her Platinum album and my "Country Pick of the Week", "Little Red Wagon". The first, "Automatic", went to #3 last year...
