twostepcub's music chart for December 12, 2014...

Hey gang, the weekend is here, and it's time to run down my top 100 tunes from the previous week. Sam Smith claims his second #1 hit, while the Foo Fighters (pictured above) fly into the top-10. Former big hits from Duke Dumont, Olivia Somerlyn, and Maroon 5 drop off my list, while songs from Nick Jonas, David Guetta, and Kristine W. make the biggest jumps (moves of 10+ places highlighted in red). Onward to Wisconsin!

The top new entry of the week at #82 comes from a British heavy metal band that I've been hyping for months from their music video, one of the best of the year. Thankfully, rock radio has caught on and "Figure It Out" from Royal Blood makes the grade...

Cincinnati-based modern rock band Walk The Moon enter at #83 with "Shut Up And Dance". They previously made my chart two years ago with "Anna Sun"...

The 30th anniversary version of Band Aid's "Do They Know It's Christmas" charity single, raising money to fight ebola in Africa, chimes in at #85.....

Danish singer Nabiha debuts at #87 with her club hit "Animals"....

Country bear Randy Houser arrives at #91 with his fourth hit on my chart, "Like A Cowboy"...

Speaking of bears, Indie folk rockers from Portland, Oregon, The Decemberists make their first appearance on my list at #94 with "Make You Better"...

British neo-house duo Clean Bandit are in the running for my top single of the year, which I'll be counting down soon, and their new single "Real Love" with Jess Glynne, lands at #95....

Boston DJ Ranny hooks up with Jipsta at #96 with "Body Pop"....

Ariana Grande comes in at #97 with "Love Me Harder" featuring alt-hip-hop artist the Weeknd...

Neo-soul singer Kem returns at #99 with "Nobody"...

The final new entry of the week at #100 is Irish pop/rock band the Script with "No Good In Goodbye". It's the follow-up to "Superheroes", which falls to #23 this week, but has a good chance of showing up on my year-end list...
