Country Sweep: August 23, 2014...

Part four of this week's "chart sweeps" has the latest country songs on the Billboard radio charts...

On their Country Airplay tally, last week's new #1, "We Are Tonight" from Billy Currington, is knocked down to #6, as Lee Brice collects his fourth #1 single with "I Don't Dance"...

Last week's top entry was "Makes Me Wanna" from Thomas Rhett. The song moves up from #51 to #44 this time out. It follows two consecutive #1's, "Get Me Some Of That" and "It Goes Like This". The new one is my "Country Pick of the Week"...

Newbie trio Cadillac Three jump from #56 to #53 with "Party Like You". It follows "The South", which made the top-40 last year...

This week's sole debut belongs to Canadian singer Lindsey Ell at #59 with "Shut Me Up". Last year she took "Trippin On Us" to #46...

Last week Tyler Farr came in at #58 with "A Guy Walks Into A Bar", and this week drops to #60, though it does succeed a couple of #3 hits with "Redneck Crazy" and "Whiskey In My Water"...

I'll wrap things up in a bit with the latest dance jams in the clubs and on the radio...
