French Sweep: July 8, 2014...


It's time to cross the ocean to check out the songs making the top-100 on the official singles chart in France this week, as rapper Black M spends a fourth week at the top with "Sur Ma Route"...

The top debut of the week comes from another French rapper, Soprano, with "Ils Nous Connaissent Pas" ("They Don't Know Us"), which enters at #36. It's his seventh lead-artist top-40 hit in this country - he also went to #2 as a guest on the Magic System's "Cherie Coco" in 2010...

As Australian singer-songwriter Sia's "Chandelier" holds up at #2, her latest single, "Big Girls Cry", comes in at #44...


Sia's countrymates 5 Seconds Of Summer land three new singles on the chart here this week. First at #54 is "Amnesia"...


...as their "Everything I Didn't Say" moves in at #59...


lastly, the 5SOS's "Kiss Me Kiss Me" is in at #62...


Hip-Hop collective Team BS arrives at #77 with "Fierté" ("Pride"). Their self-titled first single went to #21 last November...


American alternative rock band X Ambassadors team up with British blues musician Jamie N Commons with "Jungle" at #79...


Lenny Kravitz previews his upcoming Strut album with "The Chamber" at #86. Back in 1993 he went to #4 in France with "Are You Gonna Go My Way"...


Enrique Iglesias also returns at #95 with "Bailando" featuring Descemer Bueno and Gente De Zona. Enrique went all the way to #1 in France once, in 2008, with "Tired Of Being Sorry"...


The final debut of the week is from British boy-band Rixton with "Me And My Broken Heart" at #99...
