German Sweep: June 24, 2014...

I'm ready to cross the border to Germany to check out the songs making their official singles chart....

The top-selling single of the week is from the French indie-pop duo Lilly Wood & The Prick. The Parisian pair had their "Prayer In C" remixed by the German dance artist Robin Schulz, and it comes right in at #1, just like Schulz' other work on Dutchman Mr. Probz' "Waves"...

American pop-rock band OneRepublic leap in at #8 with "Love Runs Out", the fifth single from their expanded Native album. Four of the five made the top-ten in Germany, with "Counting Stars" going to #3...

Schlager singing queen Helene Fischer comes in at #27 with "Marathon". It's the followup to her top-3 hit "Atemlos Durch Die Nacht"...

German pop band OK Kid debut at #39 with "Grundlos" ("Baseless")...

As popular German rapper Cro's "Traum" drops from #1 to #2 this week, his new album Melodie is the biggest-selling album in Germany this week, and five of its tracks sell enough on their own to make the singles chart. First up at #47 is "Hey Girl"...

The title track to Melodie comes in at #52...

Cro's "Jetzt" ("Now") is in at #55...

...while "Bad Chick" comes in at #77...

Amidst all the Cro is Swedish DJ/producer Avicii at #78 with "Lay Me Down", with vocals from Adam Lambert...

The final entry of the week goes back to Cro with Dajuan with "Meine Gang (Bang Bang)"...

That's it for tonight...cheers!
