It's time to head Down Under to check out the songs making the official sales chart in Australia this week, as Sheppard spend a second week at #1 with "Geronimo"...

The top debut of the week is from X Factor Australia fourth-season winner Samantha Jade, with "Up!" at #18. It's her fifth single to make the top-40 here - in 2012 her "winner's song" "What You've Done To Me" topped the chart...

The metalcore band Amity Affliction, from the state of Queensland, claim their first top-40 hit with "Pittsburgh" at #28. Their last album went to #1 on the albums chart here...


Katy Perry returns at #42 with the third official single from her Prism album in this country, "Birthday". Oddly, due to weird chart rules in that country, even though "Dark Horse" was a top-5 seller, it was kept off the chart on request...


English indie-folk singer/songwriter Passenger's "Let It Go" was one of the biggest hits of last year in this country, and his new one, "Heart's On Fire", arrives at #43...


Pop/punk band Short Stack, from the suburbs of Sydney in New South Wales, come in at #47 with "Television", the first single from their upcoming fourth album Homecoming. They've reached the top-ten here three times, with "Sway Sway Baby" making it to #2...



Sydney singer Joelle, who was previously half of the X Factor Australia finalist act Good Question, debuts at #56 with her first hit "Save Me"...


After putting both "Hard Out Here" and "Air Balloon" into the top-20 here, British singer Lily Allen comes in at #60 with the third track from her upcoming Sheezus to make the chart, "Our Time"...


The official song from the upcoming FIFA World Cup in Brazil, "We Are One (Ole Ola)" by Pitbull with Jennifer Lopez and Brazilian singer Claudia Leitte, enters at #61...


Lana Del Rey returns at #64 with "West Coast". Her "Summertime Sadness" previously peaked at #3 in this country...


House music DJ and producer Timmy Trumpet from Sydney is in at #67 with "Freaks"...


Melbourne electronica artist Chet Faker arrives at #81 with "1998", my "Aussie Pick of the Week".  Last year he went to #18 with "Drop The Game" with Flume...


Dutch brother duo Showtek lands at #88 with "We Like To Party"...


The final new entry of the week is from Swedish indie-folk duo First Aid Kit, with "My Silver Lining"...
