Hey gang, Friday is here, and it's time to run down my top 100 tunes from the week. This time out Pharrell Williams claims the top spot for the first time as a solo artist, while One Direction (pictured above) inch closer to the top-10 for the first time since their debut single "What Makes You Beautiful". Songs by Fall Out Boy, Claire, and Beyonce make the biggest jumps (moves of 10+ places highlighted in red), while former big hits from Pearl Jam, The Neighbourhood, Colbie Caillat, and Katy Perry drop out. C'mon spring already!

Leaping in at the halfway point on my chart is the new single from Kylie Minogue, "Into The Blue". It's the first release from her upcoming Kiss Me Once which comes out next Tuesday...


Singer/songwriter Matt Nathanson returns at #87 with "Kinks Shirt", the second single from his Last Of The Great Pretenders album after "Mission Bells" (which made my chart earlier). The excellent video was directed by Bobcat Goldthwait...


Danish modern rock band New Politics follow up their breakthrough hit "Harlem" (which made my top 100 year-end chart in 2013) with "Tonight You're Perfect" at #89...


Actress Taylor Momsen's hard rock side-job, The Pretty Reckless, score their first hit on my list at #91 with "Heaven Knows"...


South African newcomers Kongos, four brothers whose father John had a minor pop hit in the 70s with "He's Gonna Step On You Again", debut at #92 with their first single to make it in the States, "Come With Me Now"...


Country rocker Brantley Gilbert is back with the first single from his upcoming third album,  "Bottoms Up". He was also in last year's year-end chart with "More Than Miles"...


Kim Cameron arrives at #95 with her dance hit "Now You're Mine"...


The star of the television musical comedy Glee, Lea Michele, places her first solo hit on my chart with "Cannonball" at #96...


French indie-pop duo Cats On Trees step in at #98 with "Sirens Call"....


The final entry on my chart at #100 is from Dutch rapper/singer Mr. Probz with "Waves"....
