Bonjour, mes amis, I'm ready to cross the Atlantic to check out the songs making the official sales chart in France this week, as Pharrell enjoys a fourteenth non-consecutive week at #1 with "Happy"...

The top debut of the week, as in many countries, is from British modern rock band Coldplay, with the first single from their upcoming album, "Magic", at #6. It becomes their third top-10 single in France, and only "Paradise" has gone higher, reaching #5 in 2011..

Pharrell's second album G.I.R.L. debuts in the #1 position on the albums sales chart in this country, and six of its tracks besides single "Happy" sell enough on their own to make the top 100 chart.
