Christian hard rock outfit Skillet ascend to #47 with "Not Gonna Die", the third single from their Rise album...

Alternative rock hero Beck is back at #48 with "Blue Moon". It's his first hit since this chart was started in 2009...

...and now on to the rock radio format charts....

On the Mainstream Rock radio panel, Avenged Sevenfold spend a fifth week at #1 with "Shepherd Of Fire"...

Coming in at #32 is heavy metal band Five Finger Death Punch with a cover of the traditional folk song made famous by the Animals, "The House Of The Rising Sun". There's no video yet, but here's the band talking about it with the song playing in the background. This follows up their #1 "Battle Born"...

Metalcore act Of Mice & Men storm in at #38 with "Will You Still Be There", their first to make this format's chart...

Canadian alternative rock singer and musician Redlight King returns at #39 with "Times Are Hard". It succeeds "Born To Rise", which made it to #9 last year...

The final entry on this list at #40 is "Asleep At The Wheel" by English alternative rock group Band of Skulls...

Meanwhile, on the Alternative/Modern Rock chart, the aforementioned Arctic Monkeys are #1 for a fifth week...

Chevelle rides in at #35 with "Take Out The Gunman" which already is closing in on the top-10 on the Mainstream chart...

Indie newcomers Bad Suns debut at #38 with "Cardiac Arrest". They sound British, but they're from SoCal...

The previously mentioned Cherub track arrives at #39...

Australian neo-psychedelic rock group Tame Impala round things out at #40 with "Feels Like We Only Go Backwards". It follows up "Elephant", which peaked at #8 on this format...

Lastly, on the Triple-A (adult album alternative, or "hipster rock") format, Lorde racks up a fourth week at #1 with "Team"...

The John Butler Trio, also from western Australia like Tame Impala, enter at #27 with "Only One", my "Rock Pick of the Week". Back in 2009 they went to #9 on this format with "One Way Road"...

The other debut at #29 is Portland, Oregon-based alt-country/folk group Blitzen Trapper with "Thirsty Man"...

I'll return in an hour and a half with the latest on R&B radio. Rock on!
