Aussie Sweep: January 29, 2014...


It's time to head Down Under to check out the songs making the top-selling singles chart in Australia this week, as Pharrell dons his hat for a fourth week with "Happy"...

The top entry at #23 is from American soul singer Aloe Blacc, the voice behind Avicii's international smash "Wake Me Up!" (a #1 hit here), with "The Man".  In 2010 his debut single "I Need A Dollar" went to #11 here (an awesome song, I must say)...

Melbourne-based rapper 360 comes in at #25 with "Impossible" featuring vocalist Daniel Johns from the rock group Silverchair. 360 went to #3 in 2011 with "Boys Like You",



New Jersey's Cash Cash are imported on to this chart at #52 with "Take Me Home" with Bebe Rexha...


American Authors also arrive on these shores at #56 with "Best Day Of My Life"...


American alt-rock trio Foster The People return at #64 with "Coming Of Age". Their debut single "Pumped Up Kicks" topped the charts here in 2010...


Kid Ink and Chris Brown drop in at #86 with "Main Chick". It follows "Show Me" by the pair which made it to #46...


Enrique Iglesias is back at #87 with "I"m A Freak". He topped this chart in 2001 with "Hero"...


Country sister trio the McClymonts, from New South Wales, arrive at #91 with "Going Under (Didn't Have To)". It's their third trip to the chart - they went to #71 is 2009 with "Kick It Up"...(right now there's no video clip for them)..

The final debut of the week is from the alternative rock band Violent Soho from the western city of Brisbane with "Covered In Chrome"...
