Soul Sweep: December 28, 2013...

We're up to the "hump" of today's "chart sweeps" sampling the songs reaching the charts in Billboard magazine this week, and this time I'm serving the latest R&B songs on the radio.

On the main R&B/Hip Hop Airplay chart, Drake makes it ten weeks at #1 with "Hold On, We're Going Home" with Majid Jordan...

As Beyonce' stealth-released her latest self-titled album, a track from the set, "Drunk In Love" with husband Jay-Z, is the top debut this week at #48, and my "Soul Pick of the Week". It's her fifth collab with Jay to make the R&B chart - they topped the list for "Crazy In Love" and "Deja Vu"...

One rung under that at #49 is rapper Sage The Gemini with "Gas Pedal" featuring IamSu! The single had already reached the top-40 on the pop chart...

Meanwhile, on the older-skewing Adult R&B radio panel, Toni Braxton & Babyface spend a third week on top with "Hurt You", and there on no songs debuting on the chart....

I'll return in 90 with the latest country songs on the radio... Groove on!
