Soul Sweep: December 14, 2013...

We're at the "hump" of this week's "chart sweeps" checking out the songs reaching the radio charts in Billboard magazine, and this time out I'm serving the latest R&B songs on the radio...

On the main R&B/Hip Hip Airplay chart, Drake and Majid Jordan spend an eighth week at #1 with "Hold On, We're Going Home"..

The only entry at the bottom rung (#50) is rapper Future with "Shhh..."...

Meanwhile, on the older-skewing Adult R&B radio panel, Robin Thicke finally gets dethroned as the pairing of Toni Braxton and Babyface take over with "Hurt You"...

The sole debut at #30 is R. Kelly with his seasonal song from The Best Man Christmas, "Christmas I'll be Steppin'", my "Soul Pick of the Week"...

That's it for this week's soul serenade...I'll return with the newest on country radio....groove on!
