The end of the weekend is upon us, and time to check out the songs making their way on to the official singles chart in the United Kingdom this week, as Lily Allen spends a third non-consecutive week with "Somewhere Only We Know"...

In a slow week heading into the holidays, the highest debut doesn't show up until #33. It's the tenth single in Justin Bieber's "Music Mondays" promo, "Confident" featuring Chance The Rapper. All ten have made the top-40 in this country, with the first, "Heartbreaker", going as high as #13...

Singer Susan Boyle, who has recently revealed that she was diagnosed with Asperger Syndrome, arrives at #48 with "O Come All Ye Faithful", a "duet" with Elvis Presley....


British trip-hop act London Grammar return at #53 with "Nightcall", the fourth single from their debut album If You Wait. It follows "Strong", which went to #16 earlier this year. The song is a remake of an electropop hit in France by Kavinsky. It's my "Brit Pick of the Week"...


British singer and songwriter Charli XCX debuts at #62 with her first lead-artist single to make the chart, "SuperLove". She was a featured artist on Icona Pop's #1 single "I Love It"...


American stage star Idina Menzel comes in at #67 with her version of "Let It Go" from the animated Disney film Frozen...


British indie singer/songwriter Tom Odell enters at #92 with "I Know", the fifth single from his first album Long Way Down. The third, "Another Love", went to #10 this year...


Australian newcomer Vance Joy debuts at #94 with "Riptide"...


The last song to enter the top-100 at #98 is from recent Saturday Night Live musical guests Kings Of Leon with "Beautiful War". It's the third song from their Mechanical Bull set to reach the chart here; both "Supersoaker" and "Wait For Me" made the top-40...
