Soul Sweep: November 16, 2013...

We're at the "hump" of today's "chart sweeps" sampling the songs making the charts in Billboard magazine, and this time I'm serving the latest R&B hits on the radio...

On the main R&B/Hip Hop Airplay chart, Drake and Majid Jordan spend a fourth week at #1 with "Hold On, We're Going Home"....

The first of the two entries at #47 is rapper B.o.B with "Ready" featuring a cameo from Future. It's the second single from his album Underground Luxury...

The other debut at #50 is neo-soul singer Algebra Blessett with "Nobody But You", which also moved to #14 on the Adult R&B format after four months on that chart...

Meanwhile, on the older-skewing Adult R&B radio panel, Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines" holds tight at #1 for a fourteenth week...

Singer Leela James returns at #35 with "Say That", featuring Anthony Hamilton. It's my "Soul Pick of the Week"...

J Cole takes his big hit "Crooked Smile", featuring TLC, to this format at #38. It sits at #3 down from a peak of #2..

...finally, Bobby V comes in at #39 with "Back To Love"...

That's all for the soul side of things...I'll be back in 90 with the newest on country radio....Groove on!
