Soul Sweep: October 26, 2013...

We're at the "hump" of today's "chart sweeps", sampling the songs making the charts in Billboard magazine, and this time I'm serving up the newest R&B songs on the radio...

On the main R&B/HipHop Airplay chart, the reign of "Blurred Lines" is over (at least for now) as Drake climbs to the top with "Hold On, We're Going Home"....

Actor and singer Mack Wilds, who was seen on TV in shows like The Wire, and the 90210 reboot,  debuts at #45 with his first single "Own It"...

Jahron Braithwaite, who records under the moniker PartyNextDoor, is from Ontario, Canada, and he is signed to Drake's label OVO. He features the star on his first time out, "Over Here"...

The last entry on the big R&B chart is rap newcomer Doe B. with "Let Me Find Out" at #49...

Meanwhile, on the older-skewing Adult R&B radio panel, Robin Thicke still holds on for an 11th week on top with "Blurred Lines"...

Coming in at #37 is Love & HipHop: Atlanta cast member K. Michelle with "V.S.O.P", which moves up to #7 on the main R&B chart...

...and at #40 is rhythm and blues icon Ron Isley with "My Favorite Thing" featuring neo-soul singer Kem. It's my "Soul Pick of the Week"...

I'll be back with the newest on country radio...
