Country Sweep: October 12, 2013...

The fourth installment of this week's "chart sweeps" is up, and now it's time for the newest entries on the country chart in Billboard magazine...

On their Hot Country Airplay chart, Jason Aldean spends a second week at #1 with "Night Train"...

There are three entries on the chart, and all three artists have reached #1 before. First up is the man who has gone to the top four times, from 2002's "Man To Man" to "Every Storm (Runs Out of Rain)" from earlier this year. He's back at #56 with the third single from his latest album Set You Free titled "It Ain't The Whiskey", my "Country Pick of the Week"...

Next up at #59 is Jerrod Niemann, who reached the top in 2010 with "Lover, Lover". He returns with "Drink To That All Night"...

Lastly, there's Brett Eldredge, who just had his first #1 hit this year with "Don't Ya", and the follow-up, "Beat Of The Music", comes in at #60...

That covers this week's country newbies...I'll finish things off in an hour and a half with the latest dance jams in the club and on the radio...Twang on!
