I'm back to sample the records making the official sales chart in Germany this week, as Avicii holds tight for a ninth week at #1 with "Wake Me Up!"...

Leaping on the chart up at #10 is rock band Revolverheld, from the city of Hamburg, with "Das Kann Uns Keiner Nehmen" ("Nobody Can Take Us"), my "German Pick of the Week"...

This week's chart winner Avicii also enters at #34 with his newest, "You Make Me"...

German YouTube comedy stars Apecrime debut at #35 with " Ich Trau Mich Nicht" ("I Do Not Clean Up")...

Electro-rap artist Marteria, from the northeastern city of Rostock, arrives at #40 with "Big Bang". He was part of a trio of artists that topped the German charts a couple years back with "Lila Wolken"...

British synthpop duo Hurts have a big following in Germany, and both their albums reached the top-5 here. They come on the charts with both the "A-side" and "B-Side" of their latest single. First at #46 is "Somebody To Die For"...

German electronica veteran Schiller enters at #57 with "Swan Lake" featuring oboist Albrecht Mayer...

Iranian-born singer Lalehnow calls Sweden her home, and has had much success there. She now crosses over to this country at #81 with a song she took to #1 in Norway and #9 in Sweden last year, "Some Die Young"...

While New Zealand's ingenue Lorde rules the rest of the world with "Royals", in this country her first entry at #83 is "Tennis Court"...

Scottish DJ and producer Calvin Harris teams up with Jordanian singer Ayah Marar on "Thinking About You"...

The "B-side" of the Hurts single, a remake of the German hit "Ohne Dich" ("Without You"), arrives at #88...

Claire is in at #98 with "The Next Ones To Come"...

The final entry at #99 is Weekend (not to be confused with the Canadian R&B artist) with "Schatz, Du Arschloch!" ("Honey, You Asshole!")...

Well, that's a way to close the sweep. Thanks for dropping by, and I'll be back tomorrow with another Song of the Day, 6 of the 60s, and this week's Aussie Sweep. Good night!
