We're at the "hump" of today's "music sweeps", sampling the songs reaching the radio singles charts in Billboard magazine, and this time it's the newest R&B hits on the radio...

On the main R&B/hiphop Airplay chart, Robin Thicke coerces a fourth week on top with "Blurred Lines"...

The big debut at #37 and my "Soul Pick of the Week" is rapper/singer Drake with "Hold On We're Going Home" featuring Majid Jordan. As a lead artist he has topped the airplay chart three times, with "Best I Ever Had", "Make Me Proud", and "The Motto"...

Another rapper that Autotunes himself into a hit-making "singer", Nelly, arrives at #46 with "Get Like Me", featuring Pharrell Williams and Nicki Minaj...












The last entry on the big chart is singer Lyfe Jennings with "Boomerang". In 2006 he topped out at #3 with "S.E.X."...


Meanwhile, on the older-skewing Adult R&B format, the aforementioned "Blurred Lines" spends week #2 on top...

Raheem DeVaughn comes in at #33 with his new track "Ridiculous"...






...and at #37 is neo-soul songstress India.Arie with "Just Do You"...
