French Sweep: August 20, 2013...

Hey gang, I'm ready to cross the Atlantic again to check out the songs reaching the Top-100 music singles chart in France this week, as Stromae holds at #1 for a third week with "Papaoutai"...

This is another incredibly slow week in this country, as the top debut doesn't arrive until #84, as medieval-style singer Luc Arbogast, who appeared on that country's version of The Voice, comes in with his second hit on the chart, "Nausicaa (La Moldau)". It's from his album Odysseus, which topped the albums chart in this country...

Entering at #94 is French singer Christophe Mae', with "Je veux du bonheur" ("I Want To Be Happy"). He has topped the singles charts twice here, with "On S'attache" in 2007 and again in 2009 with "Dingue Dingue Dingue"...

The final debut on the list at #98 is an import from American hitmakers Maroon 5 with "Love Somebody"...

That's it for this week's lil' French rendezvous...I'll be back with the latest in Germany in a lil' bit...
