Dance Sweep: August 31, 2013...

It's time to wind down this week's belated "chart sweeps" with the latest dance jams on the radio and in the clubs according to Billboard magazine...

On the DJ-polled "Hot Dance Club Play" chart, Avicii leaps from #6 to the top with "Wake Me Up!"...

The top entry at #30 is Selena Gomez with "Slow Down". It's the followup to her #1 club hit "Come & Get It"...

Chicago dance trio Krewella are in at #37 with "Live For The Night"...

This week's "talk of the town" Miley Cyrus twerks in at #44 with "We Can't Stop"....

The last debut on the club chart at #49 is Havana Brown with "Flashing Lights", my "Dance Pick of the Week". It's her third to make the chart - the other two, "We Run The Night" and "Big Banana", both went to #1...


Meanwhile, on the radio-monitored Hot Dance Airplay/Mixshow chart, Lana Del Rey's "Summertime Sadness" remains on top for a third week, and there are no new songs on the list...
